Count Occurrences of Characters or Strings inside Data Fields |

A post on the Monarch discussion forum asked whether it was possible to create a calculated field that counts instances of a particular character (or string) in a field. It is often worth visiting the Monarch web site at http://monarch.datawatch.com/index.asp too for new developments and information.

Three Monarch training courses in October in Johannesburg, South Africa have totally sold out even, after Datawatch Europe in partnership with its local reseller, increased their number to three. A free product release seminar will also take place on 27 October in Johannesburg schedule and all interested in attending are urged to apply quickly! Places are limited. More course will be held, perhaps in Cape Town, if sufficient requests are received.
