Datawatch Europe will be pushing ahead with regional training courses once again. In September we will be visiting Manchester on the 18th - 19th and in Cork on the 25th - 26th. To start October we are in Glasgow on the 9th - 10th. These courses cover basic and intermediate topics and are for people who have not attended a Monarch training course before, with a workshop session on the second afternoon to help you with your own reports, models and projects.

Maintenance Release |

We are pleased to announce the latest maintenace release for Monarch V9. The 9.01 patch is now available for download from our website or by clicking the link below. This maintenance patch is free for all registered users of Monarch Version 9 Standard and Professional. The patch includes resolutions to certain Excel exporting issues as well as new alternate trapping characters for foreign language compatability and the ability to choose to export delimited or fixed width text files. Clever Monarch Tip |

New Monarch users quickly learn the concept of Append level templates to mine useful data in addition to Detail level data. However, the Append level data will repeat in each row in the Monarch table. Typically this presentation of Append level data is very useful and desirable, facilitating data filters, calculated fields, etc.
Nevertheless, Monarch users often ask our Technical Support team whether Monarch can be set up to not repeat the Append level data in each row of their table. This is indeed possible using a different technique to trap our Append level data.
